20-20® IXP2000 is the newest model with higher integration and more powerful processing capabilities providing up to 2048 ports. Super Large-Scale Integration (SLSI) is adopted to reduce the number of common control units from six to two, which greatly increases the reliability and reduces the size. For example, a 2048 ports IXP2000 system occupies only 0.96m2, while a LH system occupies 2.1m2.
FHC distinguishes IXP2000 into two types £C and S.
IXP2000 C adopts four-shelves cabinet architecture and employs a 256-port shelf as the basic building block. A 2048 port IXP2000 C system consists of two cabinets. For 512 port system and 1536 port system, the cabinets can also contain two shelves. |
